About ME

My name is Crystal Johnson and I have a wonderful life and a wonderful family. I live with my hott husband and our three babies. We have two small dogs named Cadence and Cali. The big brother of the bunch is a 15 pound cat named Comet

I started doing hair when I was 17 years old. While I was in high school I went to state cometition in VICA and won first place. This allowed me to compete on a national level in Kanas City MO. There I placed 12th in the nation among 52 competitors.

Upon graduating high school I completed my state board exam by passing it with a 100! I studied very hard for this test and I was not about to bomb it. After getting my license, I started working for Dana's Styling in Hillsville VA. There I had my first learning experience of doing hair in the real world. I stayed there for 3 years and decided to pursue other options.

In June of 2004 I started work at Rayzors Salon in Galax VA. It has been by far the best learning experience that I have had so far. Jenny is a great educator and loves for us to excel in all we do. I am currently still employed there today, so if you would like to stop by and say hi feel free to do so.
